The wikis tend to lag behind reality in my experience. I have run FreeBSD under UTM (Qemu with a GUI). It worked OK, but I wasn't able to get better than 800x600 graphics, and it seemed to cause the host macOS to drop network connections. -- Life is a game. Play hard. Play fair. Have fun.
