14.2-RELEASE install hangs on RPi 3 & 4 Model B

Greetings.

I have been tring to install FreeBSD 14.2-RELEASE on the following 2
RPis:
  (1) Raspberry Pi 3 Model B
  (2) Raspberry Pi 4 Model B

and the install process has been hanging after the lines:

  ...
  TCP_ratelimit: Is now initialized
  ugen0.2: <vendor 0x2109 USB2.0 Hub> at usbus0

To try to narrow down the problem, I installed 13.4-RELEASE on the RPi 4
and the install went through without a hitch. Then I did "freebsd-update
upgrade -r 14.2-RELEASE" and after the 1st reboot (as part of the
upgrade process), it started hanging at the aforementioned line.

Has anybody else successfully fresh-installed 14.2-RELEASE on one or
both of the RPis in question?
