Re: kernel modules for rockchip video for pinebook pro and rockpro64

i never understand what stops you guys from working on current directly? like get it into tree. did you get into fight with devs? if yes, why? couldn't adhere to standards? i see hours of manpower being spent on creating stuff on 13, 14 and now plans to do it on 15 again? if 15 is mature it's already old. sure, you can do it. it's called a (local) fork. i just have problems with it. particularly, if i want to use it, i can't. noone else can, either. i'm curious why those decisions are made. who wants to run old 13 with all old insecure ports and so on? but at least runs on new hw. it's a wtf. it's complete and utter wtf to look forward on running old fbsd. despite everyone is completely free in doing so. it's not internal company stuff either, otherwise why tell it on fbsd official list. it all makes me very sad!!!
