Hi freebsd-arm@,

we were upgrading ThunderX systems from 13.5-RELEASE-p14 to 15.0-RELEASE-p8 via
freebsd-upgrade.

On 13.5-RELEASE-p14 vnicpf0 (with iovctl) was configured and the 40G interface
in use. A dual port NIC (igb0/igb1) is sitting in the PCIe port and worked as
well.

After upgrading and booting into 15.0-RELEASE-p8, both NICs do not show up
anymore. It _seems_ as if the drivers do not attach to the devices, because the
PCI bus itself is not initialized as expected (see the attached dmesg.boot).

The ThunderX systems are those the initial armv8 development has been done on
(Gigabyte R120-T33).

I attached dmesg.boot, pciconf -l and loader.conf for a start. Any help is very
much appreciated.

Thanks!

Frank
