For https://www.freebsd.org/platforms/arm/ : ) The Status section does not mention FreeBSD/arm or FreeBSD/armv6 . (FreeBSD/armv6 is now Tier 3 for 14.* and derecated for 15.* and main. The HW section does mention FreeBSD/arm and FreeBSD/armv6.) ) The Status section does not mention FreeBSD/arm or FreeBSD/armv6 . (So: nothing indicating armv6 is supported on only 14.* and only as tier 3.) ) The Status section does indicate ARMv4 and ARMv5 as deprecated. ARM9E, XScale, Feroceon,and ARM10E would likely be examples. Sheeva seems to be a Marketing name that spans more than armv6/armv7. ) The SoCs list references SoCs that involve no armv6/armv7 cores. (Atmel AT91RM92 and AT91SAM9 families and Intel XScale would be likely examples.) ) The only armv7 RPi BCM* is the BCM2836/BCM2709 in the RPi2B v1.1 . (Only the BCM2835 is mentioned.) ) The various BCM2835 based RPi models are armv6. ) The various BCM2837/BCM2711/BCM2712 based RPi models are aarch64. ) The Boards list references some Boards that involve no armv6/armv7 cores. (Atmel AT91RM9200 would likely be an example.) Note: Overall, I only recognize a subset of those lists.
