The most visible effort currently is based on the draft/partial EDK2 for
the vintage of RPi5 involved, used by selecting for it to provide both
ACPI and DeviceTree. The code is not in the official git yet.

(It is possible that the effort only spans D0 stepping based RPi5's.)

The title in the freebsd-arm list is:

"Need testers for ALPHA RPi-5 fan control, GE NIC, WiFi drivers for
FreeBSD-CURRENT"
