Oracle JDeveloper on FreeBSD

I don't know if the is the right list for this question, but here we go.

Has anyone had any luck installing Oracle JDeveloper on FreeBSD?
I am not even sure if it would work.

I would like to use the php extension in JDeveloper to connect via JDBC to a remote Oracle RDB database.
