PostgreSQL 8.3 beta?

Hi there,

PostgreSQL is finally beta as of Oct. 8. There IS already a port for 
that: databases/postgresql83-server, which cannot be installed:

IGNORE=         "Please ignore, work in progress"

How are we supposed to beta-test it then? Or does it mean that the port 
itself is still WIP (in which case it's okay to wait a bit, I guess)?
