FreeBSD's iconv_open() and iconv() have supported the magic //IGNORE suffix=
 for
a while, but it is not mentioned in the man page.=20

The man page does mention the non-standard __iconv() and its
__ICONV_F_HIDE_INVALID flag, which implies (to me, anyway) that //IGNORE is=
 NOT
supported, when it is.
