I wanted to share that I have submitted my first small documentation patch to the FreeBSD Handbook. It updates an HTTP link to HTTPS in the advanced-networking chapter. I know this is a very small fix, but I submitted it to learn how the contribution process works=E2=80=94from cloning the repo to opening a pull = request. I=E2=80=99m happy to say that I=E2=80=99ve learned a lot along the way. I apologize for taking about two weeks to get this done. I ran into some challenges with Bugzilla and the workflow, but I=E2=80=99m grateful for the experience. Going forward, I plan to contribute more meaningful patches as I get more comfortable with the codebase. I=E2=80=99m particularly interested in cyber= security and networking areas. Thank you for your time and for maintaining such a great project. Best regards, Gopi Siddhardh PR #704: https://github.com/freebsd/freebsd-doc/pull/704 --0000000000008f7d4e06582351a3 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr">Hello FreeBSD Documentation Team,<br><br>I hope this email= finds you well.<br><br>I wanted to share that I have submitted my first sm= all documentation patch to the FreeBSD Handbook.
