https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=120989 --- Comment #24 from Tomasz "CeDeROM" CEDRO <[email protected]> --- Ah I read the whole thread now, greetings to beautiful year of 2008 from 2026 (world became a mess after 2014 heh) :D Yes I am often using UDF for BluRay backups (on BD/25GB BD-DL/50GB and BD-XL/100GB media). This works pretty well with mkisofs and current mount_udf. Also got some DVD-RAM disks but was not able to use them "just to write things on the fly". Currently on 14.4-RELEASE-p8. Long time ago I was searching for UDF read/write support for a common shared drive among FreeBSD, Linux, and Windoze. Now I use ZFS and only FreeBSD. Having modern and efficient UDF support on FreeBSD could solve exFAT as the only sensible and efficient format for a shared drives. Thank you for UDF and optical disk writing tools that I still for over 20 years!! :-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
