No it has not been cooking for eight weeks. In fact, every iteration resets the
timeout counter. And speaking of that, you did not provide the maintainer of
security/xmlsec1 the proper period to review that portion.

desktop@ has not approved any of these at all, and further, has explicitly
disapproved this design of splitting.

These will be reverted.
