I am closing this bug as resolved. The x11-toolkits/libwnck3 port has been
upgraded from 3.36.0 to 43.3, which properly resolves the LLVM 19 linker
failure. As [email protected] noted, the version upgrade (PR #283515) was the
correct fix rather than the workaround patch. The XFCE4 desktop build blocker
is resolved.
