I am closing this bug because it was reported against GIMP 2.10.20 and the
current port version is 2.10.38. [email protected] asked the reporter to test
with the current version in February 2026 but received no response. The Text
Tool crash has likely been addressed in the 18 intervening releases. If the
issue persists with GIMP 2.10.38, please reopen with updated details.
