Tested in VirtualBox. Three packages installed from
FreeBSD-15.1-BETA1-amd64-dvd1.iso after installing 15.1-BETA1: 

gnome sddm xorg

Installed after first boot of the OS: 

virtualbox-ose-additions-72

Two options do not work (SDDM reappears): 

* GNOME Classic on Xorg
* GNOME Classic

The third option does work: 

* GNOME on Xorg
