Still occurring on FreeBSD 14.4.

However, lockup occurs at lock screen, so this isn't a very useful workarou=
nd.

I installed lightdm and, with seatd installed and configured via
seatd_enable=3D"YES" in /etc/rc.conf, I can log in.  Also, in this setup, t=
he
lock screen - which is or has the appearance of GDM - does work.
