Changes in FreeBSD do not happen by polls and votes.  It seems
you think they should; and maybe they should.  But, we are working
with the way the _current contributing members_ of the project work,
and things are not done that way.

The people who do the work make the decisions.  That's the entirety
of it.

fwiw, I have done more for this project than you ever will have,
no matter how hard you get to work right now.

I think my first Problem Report was filed in 1999.  Perhaps it
was earlier, I am too bored to check.  I have served years on
various administration teams.
