Hello everyone,

I'm Jesús Blázquez, a CS and Mathematics student from Spain, and I'm
interested in contributing to FreeBSD for GSoC 2026.

I focus on low-level C/C++, systems architecture, and cybersecurity.
Most of my work so far has been on solo projects, and I’m now looking
to contribute to a large-scale open source codebase.

The "ext2fs user space tools" project caught my eye as it combines my
interest in filesystem internals with pure C development. I am also
interested in concurrency and kernel internals, so I'm open to other
projects where a strong C/C++ and mathematical background would be
useful.

I’m currently setting up a FreeBSD VM to begin researching the
codebase. In the meantime, I would appreciate any guidance on
documentation, "junior jobs," or specific areas where my profile might
be a good fit.

Best regards,

Jesús C. Blázquez
