So... I can confirm that it is working again.  On all three browsers.  At
the height of the stupid, I observed discord admitting that their api was
seeing an unusual number of errors.  In the rear view mirror, this looks
like some form of Discord spasm that was (and I'm making assumptions now)
marking FreeBSD's pattern of behavior as aberrant.  Even just now (having
had a few successes), I see it having a problem connecting.

Sigh.  We can't have nice things.
