Notice that ppl may not be using drm-latest-kmods, which requires manually updating. From what I have experienced, drm-XX-kmods will cause trouble.

I got that wrong. For example, in 1404500 the "5" (or [6-9]) indicates
"-STABLE" So: 14.4-STABLE . It is another thing that the ABI does not
indicate of itself.

It is really the last 2 digits that I should have referenced as
potentially ignored.
