No, I'm not. I don't find any problem with the fact that mounting via, say, /dev/ufs/bar, result in `df` mentionning that device name. The problem I see comes from the fact that GEOM seem to want to hide the devices corresponding to the other labels once one is mounted. In my test the partition under test have 3 names: - /dev/md0p2 (native name) - /dev/gpt/bar (GPT label) - and /dev/ufs/bar (UFS label) When you mount via md0p2 the labels (GPT and UFS) vanish and are restored on umount. But when you mount via a label, the other vanish and is not restored on umount. Regards, Stéphane
