Hello world :-) I was planning to get AMD 9950x CPU.. but I saw this Intel 285K from and it seems comparable in efficiency while its ~$100 cheaper and seems to have better power efficiency (125W vs 170W) it also has some NPU. https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-Ultra-9-285K-vs-AMD-Ryzen-9-9950X/4173vs4172 I will use it mostly for compilation and 285K seems to score better in clang benchmarks (242klines/sec vs 226klines/s). https://nanoreview.net/en/cpu-compare/intel-core-ultra-9-285k-vs-amd-ryzen-9-9950x Does anyone have experience with these and could (not) recommend one of them? I may turn slightly into Intel due better compile times and power efficiency :-P Any hints welcome :-) Tomek -- CeDeROM, SQ7MHZ, http://www.tomek.cedro.info
