Just to confirm that I'm now seeing the same issue on rx2600
with FreeBSD 9.0-RELEASE, with the serial console
(I'm rebuilding the box after destroying the FS in anger):

I haven't yet had the time to try older releases.
Resetting EFI to default settings, resetting MP
doesn't help.

I also tried installing on da0 already partitioned
(in another box) with gpart, and on da0 wiped
with dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/da0 bs=1m - doesn't help.
