OpenJDK ports and the quarterly branch

Hi,

A couple of questions for the community:

1. Should new OpenJDK versions be cherry-pickes also to the current quarterly branch?
2. How about updates to the existing openjdk ports?

Currently I've only submitted new versions and updates to the main
branch. That means packages will be available to people on the latest
branch until the next quarterly is branched out.

I'd love to get your input and thoughts on the matter.
