but ~15 for IPv6) and the IPv6 problems and the problems people had with it=

I am not sure what the expected status quo in java should be today: v4mappe=
d v6
sockets still?  open two sockets (one for each address family)?  From the
comments above it seems people are still trying to do the thing which never=
 was
a good idea (v4mapped v6 sockets)?
