FreeBSD on Toshiba Portege R100 - suspend/resume problem

I have now been running FreeBSD on my Toshiba Portege R100 laptop for
little under a week now and have almost no issues left. I have written
a web page about it here:

The only major issue is that suspend/resume does not work. Is there a
documented way to start debugging this or can anyone offer suggestions
to where I should begin looking in order to get this working?
