This is a build in modem with sound card option in a iTronix IX260 II
rugged Laptop, like the HP NR3000
running FreeBSD-RELEASE-p1

so far I got all most every thing working on this machine, part of the
modem, witch is probed by enabling the device.hints section.

It may sounds stupid, but witch "/dev/???" do I need, and how to set up
to get this modem working, can't be far away ;o)

Both, the AC97-sound and Smartlink-modem running on IRQ 11

AC97:
	IRQ: 11
	I/O: D800-D8FF
	I/O: D400-D43F

Smartlink 56K: (on COM4 under XP)
	IRQ: 11
	I/O: E000-E0FF
	I/O: DC00-DC7F

By the way, the Laptop got a "build-in Microphone" as well as a AUX
socket, to attach an external Mic-headset, to be used with this modem.
Under XP I can use it for VoIP phone calls, in that situation the
AC97-soundcard of the modem get used, being conected via INTEL/PRO
wireless 2915abg miniPCI to DSL-internet

Thanks for any help
Hanno
