Hi,

I'm using the new freebsd 5.4

Sometimes my DELL inspiron 8600c hangs when the dvd&cdrecorder drive is
displayed during the boot process.

Acpi and udma is enabled, I got a similiar problem in 5.3

No idea, what I could try....

Any ideas ?

Here's the output of dmesg:

Greetings and thanks in advance,

Raphael
