It should run automatically when a card in inserted or when detected at boot time. I have the following in the start_if.wi0 in my default profile: ifconfig wi0 ssid "" wepmode off In my home profile I have: ifconfig wi0 ssid "jt843kf" wepmode on weptxkey 1 wepkey 1:0x1234567890 (My home system runs WEP and does not broadcast a beacon.) -- R.
