I really hate when people hardcode things like that. It closes the window for changes in the /etc when you want to e.g make your own custom embedded system and dont need 99.9% of the files in /etc. One can of course recompile the code with custom changes but...Anyway, how do you solve that hw.acpi.lid_switch_state=S3 issue? I disabled it myself since I dont want my laptop to get suspended every time i close the screen. But I am curious about your devd trick.
