ACPI on -stable?

Hi there,

Is there any chance ACPI will be available on -stable anytime soon?

I own a Compaq EVO N160 which works beautifully with -stable, but 
is ACPI only. Hence, I have no power management at all. Which is slightly
annoying at times.
