nVidia Go 6600 reboot (kernel panic?)

Hi,

I've got a nVidia GeForce Go 6600 on a Centrino chipset - and a weird
problem with it, too. The X.org default driver does not recognize
the chipset and only gives me 640x480x24bit, which is... weird :)
With ports/x11/nvidia-driver I get the "real" resolutions, and along
with them a 100% reproducible reboot when I switch to a text console
and then back to X. This smells of a kernel panic, but it does not
drop me into ddb (understandable), does not leave a crash dump or
anything...

Here's what pciconf -lv says:
