I have read the post on the link you provided and see the "patched code" at the bottom of it. However, I am a bit of a novice when it comes to patching and recompiling drivers. Can you lend me any assistance on how I can retrieve the patch (download?, copy & paste to new file?, etc.), apply the patch and recompile the driver to create a kernel module? I hope this will correct my audio issues on my laptop. I appreciate you posting this information and look forward to your response.
