If you didn't read the whole thread you probably didn't apply the patch
either?

Dragging works for me with the patch above.

I wasn't talking about scrolling with extra buttons (my laptop has
none), but about "virtual scrolling", that is scrolling by sliding the
finger above a special area of the mouse pad.
