I don't need it, so I've never bothered to try.

Also, I've not tried to use the built-in modem (I suspect
it doesn't work because it's a winmodem, but I don't need
it either).  The firewire port is detected correctly and
I believe it would work, but I don't have any IEEE1394
equipment to test with.

Everything else works:  USB, PCCARD, 1440x1080 video with
2D and 3D acceleration (DRM/DRI), audio, built-in iwi(4)
WLAN, Fast-ethernet (bfe(4)), DVD-/+R/RW drive, PS/2 port
for external keyboard and mouse, ACPI with thermal zone
management, power saving with cpufreq(4) + powerd(8).
I probably forgot a few.  :-)

"Python tricks" is a tough one, cuz the language is so clean. E.g.,
C makes an art of confusing pointers with arrays and strings, which
leads to lotsa neat pointer tricks; APL mistakes everything for an
array, leading to neat one-liners; and Perl confuses everything
period, making each line a joyous adventure <wink>.
