wi0 in -current - nogo

I cvsup'ed -current yesterday on my Dell Inspiron 8000
and since then (same kernel config file) wi0 is gone.

Any ideas?
Strange, I can't find a current /var/log/messages and dmesg is also
not of the latest date. Have things changed so dramatically?
