I tried to "ndis" the bcmwl5 driver that I downloaded from Dell website (R120981). I still get the same kernel panic when I kldload it.
There's a EU and Canada version, and a US version. I picked the EU one, since I'm in France. 
Would it work with the US version ?
What else could I do ?

Sounds like they've change things since i got mine then. Useful to know
and somewhat irritating that different versions of the same model vary
that much in components. my pciconf -lv gave...
