Errors with wpi

Hi Ben, I gave the latest snapshot another try this morning, but it
didn't go too well :)

I loaded the module fine, but 'ifconfig wpi0 up list scan' failed to
return. In addition, it seemed to lock up the machine for about a minute
before returning to normal levels of interactivity.

I've attached pertinent /var/log/messages , dmesg.boot , kernel config
and pciconf. Kernel is
