I'm using nvidia graphics.

Removing VESA with syscons actually worked today. ACPI_PM for the module
isn't necessary, but doesn't seem to hurt either. Now it seems to work
like in 9.2-RELEASE. Also, no hangs so far.

I'm pretty sure I tested that setup yesterday without success. So either
there was something wrong in yesterday's test or I changed something
else in the meantime.

Suspending when Xorg is not running still results in a black monitor
after resume. But I'm not really sure if I've tried that in 9.2-RELEASE.
