Dell laptop fan control?

Hi, Does anyone have a fan control utility for Dell laptops that work under FreeBSD? I have an old Dell Inspiron 8100 which I would like to have fan control for (BIOS frequently lose track of thermometer readings, requiring me to manually enter Fn-Z to silence the fan). It seems that nobody has saved away "fanonbsd" or "i8kutil" which used to exist for FreeBSD.
