I've had a the same problem trying to get mine to work with 5.0-Current,
but I haven't had any luck specifying irq channels in the kernel config
(from /usr/sbin/config):

config: FOOCONF:255: devices with zero units are not likely to be correct

How can I turn on ISA emulation, or is there maybe an easier way to
do it?
