Hello out-there

i have a question which seems to be well known, but i canŽt google the 
answer.

I have a recent -current running on a Dell Inspiron 3800. Trying
to start pccardd gives the message:
Sep  3 20:58:14 vger pccardd[17279]: fatal error: no PC-CARD slots

I have seen the same question many times - but what is the answer.

Please, can anybody point me to the right document?

Sorry, i posted this question also to the
"mailing.lists.freebsd.mobile"-list, but have no connection to the list
