Hi, I've got a Sony VAIO GR300 running FreeBSD 4.6-RELEASE, and I was wondering if it would be possible to use the built-in memory stick slot on this model. It appears to be connected via USB to the laptop, however it's being attached to ugen, which makes it somewhat unuseful. dmesg output: ugen0: Sony USB Memory Stick Slot, rev 1.10/1.83, addr 2 usbdevs -v output: Controller /dev/usb2: addr 1: self powered, config 1, UHCI root hub(0x0000), (0x24878086)(0x0000), rev 0x0100 port 1 addr 2: power 100 mA, config 1, USB Memory Stick Slot(0x0056), Sony(0x054c), rev 0x0183 port 2 powered Another odd note: I'm using moused to use the jogdial device on this laptop. When I insert a stick into the memory stick slot, it generates jogdial events. So is there any hope of using this slot to read memory sticks? -- Chip Marshall <[email protected]> http://www.chocobo.cx/chip/ GCM/CS d+(-) s+:++ a21>?
