Microsoft MN-510 USB Wi-Fi ?

Got no answer on  -questions, so I'll ask the experts:

If I buy a Microsoft MN-510 **USB** Wi-Fi wireless adapter, should I 
expect it to work with FreeBSD 4.6.2?  It's $70 after rebate, and being 
USB, you can mount it with its antenna up in the clear for presumably 
better range.
