PCCard and half-duplex

Hi all, can some one point out to me what the flag is to pass to PCcard in rc.conf to force half duplex? I keep losing network connectivity at odd times, I can't FTP to this laptop, and FTPing out results in timeout errors when I try to grab files. So I'm hoping that half-duplex will fix. Thanks much!
