I have a Fujitsu E-6595 here and apm fails. I have it in the kernel
and started apmd. When I do an apm -Z, it does nothing. An apm -z
really seems to suspend it and when I press the button it tries to
come back but freezes. I have to reset it with the typical fsck stuff
being run later. However, I didn't dig into this a lot so far...

Another thing is, that I don't have the button-press function on
the touchpad. Under Windoze, I can hit the touchpad with the
finger and it behaves like a click on the left button. Under X
this doesn't work. Maybe it is only some option missing in the
X11 config...

Of course, the crappy internal modem is useless under FreeBSD.

Apart from that, I am quite happy with this thing. When using
an additional battery instead of the CDROM, I can get 5.5 hours
of operation (if the CPU is idle most of the time). This is not
as much as the 8 hours my old Fujitsu 510AGP did but it is ok.
One note here: The E-6595 got a rather power intensive backlight.
The operating current drops from 1,23A to 0,89A when the backlight
is switched full bright to the darkest mode.
