Hello there,
i have a laptop (may be you don't know it: Portocom). On it runs
a w2k and a Linux.
i would like to install a FreeBSD; i try these versions:
4.6, 4.7, 5.0 rc1 & rc2 - but i think it is impossible...:(
the results of FreeBSD5.0 rc2 boot process:
--- cut here ---
OK boot -v
/boot/kernel/kernel text=0x3cbc7c data=0x52198+0x5b82c syms=[0x4+0x4d8c0+0x4+0x5b8cf

and boot hangs up here, and doesn't do anything... :(
i try to install other BSD's (NetBSD and OpenBSD), but just the
OpenBSD was installed correctly, but this was after 4-5 times
attempt (every time the boot hangs up like bottom)
what can i do?
