Thanks, found & installed.  This solved a number of BIOS-related ACPI
problems: previously, basically none of the "blue" Fn keys were working,
suspending under ACPI caused the VGA to start displaying nonsense.
After upgrading, all this works fine.

Cute.  I see that part of it is already in -current though not all.
Do you plan to also import the rest?  Is there something else that
an be done with it other than display the data?

Btw., upgrading the kernel to the most recent version seems to have
solved /this/ one (the 0xdeadc0de panic), so i'm now happy with ACPI.
