I get temporary freezes on the hostap side of
the wireless connection every now and then
(usually when doing a file transfer). I get
messages like this:

--------------------
Feb 13 15:59:44 testbox /kernel: wi0: timeout in wi_seek to fc07/0; last status 800b
Feb 13 15:59:44 testbox /kernel: wi0: timeout in wi_seek to fc00/0; last status 800b
Feb 13 15:59:44 testbox /kernel: wi0: wi_cmd: busy bit won't clear.
Feb 13 15:59:44 testbox /kernel: wi0: failed to allocate 1594 bytes on NIC
Feb 13 15:59:44 testbox /kernel: wi0: tx buffer allocation failed
Feb 13 15:59:44 testbox /kernel: wi0: wi_cmd: busy bit won't clear.
Feb 13 15:59:44 testbox /kernel: wi0: failed to allocate 1594 bytes on NIC
Feb 13 15:59:44 testbox /kernel: wi0: mgmt. buffer allocation failed
---------------------

The card (an MA401) shows up as the following:

wi0: <Netgear MA301> port 0x4480-0x44bf,0x4400-0x447f mem 0xf5120000-0xf5120fff irq 9 at device 6.0 on pci2
wi0: 802.11 address: 00:09:5b:25:25:3a
wi0: using RF:PRISM2.5 MAC:ISL3873
wi0: Intersil Firmware: Primary 1.00.07, Station 1.03.06

Is this a firmware issue, a driver issue, or something
specific to hostap support in the wi driver?

Thanks,
Sam
