Has anyone of knowledge or first-hand experience of installing FreeBSD
(either 4.x or 5.x) on a DELL Inspiron 8500 laptop?

The built-in NIC is a Broadcom 440X 10/100

Should I be prepared for bad news or a long, long wait??
